Q. What are the benefits of a virtual assistant?
A virtual assistant allows you to use your time more efficiently and can provide you with a better work-life balance. A virtual assistant also costs less than an employee because you only pay for productive hours, you don't have to pay benefits, and you get a better bang for your buck by hiring a specialist who can provide more work in less time.
Q. What is the process like to get a virtual assistant hired?
We will start with a complementary consultation call, where we discuss your needs as a business and see if we might be a good fit for each other. We will talk about what services you're looking for and how I can help, what your budget is, build out your tailored package, and answer any other questions you may have.
After the consultation call, I will send a follow up email with a brief summary of what we discussed, including a service contract and agreement and finalized quote. Once I get the contract back signed and with payment (retainers are due up front, deposit is required for hourly), we will schedule an onboarding call.
The onboarding call is where we discuss the specifics about our working relationship (my working hours and procedures, your procedures and workflows, communication plan, etc.).
I'll get right to work at our agreed upon start date, provided I receive everything I need from you beforehand. I provide weekly updates every Friday via email so we are always on the same page. I look forward to working with you!
Q. How do I pay and is there a mninimum contract commitment?
Fees are due at time of signing the contract, pro-rated accordingly to the agreed start date. There is no commitment, you simply pay a retainer for the coming month. However, I do offer discounts for extended contracts of 3 months or more. Invoices are sent out the week before the new month and are due in 14 days (late fees may apply). Payment is due before start date for new contracts. I accept e-checks through Deluxe Payment Exchange, ACH, online payments (Vemo, PayPal, etc.), and all major credit cards (processing fee applies).
Q. How will we communicate and work together?
We will primarily communicate through email and Honeybook (I use this CRM to keep track of all my clients). Our consultation and onboarding call will be over the phone or on Teams. However, I will do my best to accommodate your business and your preferred style of communication.
Q. How do I know my information is safe?
Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your business is our top priority. Included in our service contract is a strong Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality clause. As well, you may provide your own NDA for me to sign on top of that. Any information or passwords that you may need to share with me are done through LastPass, a secure platform that encrypts all your information.
